The Mountain Nook is a pet-friendly stationary RV glamping retreat in Townsend, Tennessee, near Cades Cove and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Designed for couples and small families, this 2021 Grand Design Reflection sleeps up to five guests and provides a comfortable home base on the quieter side of the Smokies.
The layout includes a private primary bedroom with a queen bed and a separate bunk room with a twin bed above a double bed. A Pack ’n Play is also available for younger guests.
Outside, relax around the wood-burning fire pit with comfortable seating after a day of hiking, sightseeing, tubing, or exploring Cades Cove and Little River.
Guests receive complimentary access for up to four people at Tremont Outdoor Resort in Townsend, including three pools, two children’s pools, fire pits, and pickleball courts. Additional wristbands are available for $10 each, paid directly to Tremont.
The Mountain Nook is conveniently located near the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and approximately 40 minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge—close enough for day trips while offering a quieter place to return to.
